Wind Beneath My Wings

  1. Hi Charlee,

I’m Dani, I’m a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey. I grew up in Northland then I moved down to Auckland to study and now I live in Three Kings. I normally spend my time in the Kaikohekohe cluster but we decided I should see some of the awesome posts in the Ako Hiko cluster! I am looking forward to spending some time in Ako Hiko and I hope to see some great posts!

Wow! You have created an amazing and very informative DLO about Lions. What is your favourite fact from your DLO? My favourite fact which I didn’t know before reading your DLO, is that lions aren’t the biggest cats. I never realised that tigers were bigger, I always presumed that lions were bigger because they are the kings of the jungle. I was also shocked to read that they will sometimes eat tortoises! Were you shocked by that fact as well?

I have noticed that you have finished the Summer Learning Journey programme. Congratulations! I know that it does take quite a bit of time and commitment to complete the programme. Especially if you have completed all of your tasks to the such a high quality, like this activity.

Did you know for every quality positive, thoughtful and helpful comment that you leave on another Summer Learning Journey, you can earn an extra two points! The link below is the Summer Learning Journey Twitterfeed, which shows all of the latest posts from all six clusters. You should definitely go and check out some of the students in the Kaikohekohe cluster.

I look forward to reading more of your blog soon!

    Blog ya later,

    Dani
