Day 2 - Activity 3 - Week 3 - Summer Learning Journey

Flying Fungi
If there are 7 different kinds of mould in the classroom and it takes 5 days to remove 1.
5 times 7 = 35
It will be 35 days
7 days make 1 week so
5 weeks will be 35 days.

The Answer is 35 days but if you are counting the weeks it will be 5 weeks.

What other strategy would you have used?

  3. Hi Charlee,

It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team.

You've done a super job of showing your calculation of how many days or weeks it would take to get rid of 7 moulds. Your answer is correct!

I hope you never find that many moulds in any of your school classrooms!! And I hope I never will either!! They can make people quite ill - not fun!

I'm glad that you've chosen to work so hard at the activities in this Summer Learning Journey program this summer. Good for you!!

I'll continue to read your blog.

    Cheers,

    Leslie
