Day 2 - Activity 2 - Week 4 - Summer Learning Journey

A Protective Plant
If I could plant anything in my Garden it would be
Kumara because me and my family love Kumara
Feijoas because my papa and nan had a tree and my family eat a lot of them
Plums because they are delicious
Strawberries because I love them so so much
Lemons because you can make lemon juice
Oranges because you can make home made juice
Apples because you can make Apple slices and cakes
Pumpkin because we eat them for dinner sometimes
Potatoes because my sister loves them
Onions because we love them

  1. Hi Charlee,

I'm Leslie and I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, reading your blog from my home in Canada. Can you believe that I'm sitting at my computer in a house surrounded by snow while you're enjoying a warm summer day? It's amazing that we can both live on the earth and yet have such different experiences on any given day!

I think you've made a great list of fruits and veggies to plant in your garden. You've chosen things both for yourself and for others in your family and that's very generous of you. Well done! You've also done a good job of explaining why you'd choose to plant those fruits or veggies. That's helpful and interesting.

I'm not familiar with Feijoas. Can you tell me a little bit more about them. Are they a fruit or a vegetable?

I hope you're having lots of fun this summer and I'm so glad that you've chosen to be a part of the Summer Learning Journey. I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog.

    Cheers,

    Leslie

It's Melita. I love the choices of vegetables and fruits that you'd like to plant in your garden. You're working very hard at this program. Keep up your wonderful efforts.
