Day 5 - Activity 1 - Week 4 - Summer Learning Journey

Environment Day - Beat Plastic Pollution
3 thing me and my family could do to help this beautiful plant is:

  1. Stop using Plastic bags, Plates, Bottles and more.
  2. Go out a few days and pick up some letter before it goes in the water.
  3. Having short showers because your parents can save a bit more money on something else like reusable bags

  4. Hi Charlee,

It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team.

I think you've made 3 solid suggestions as to how we can live more carefully on our planet. Eliminating plastic, keeping our oceans clean and using less energy per person are 3 good ideas. Well done!!

I'm so glad that we have recycling programs in our towns and cities now because a lot of things that used to end up in the rubbish can now be recycled and made into usable items. My husband and I are trying to reduce what we buy, in the first place, so that there's less rubbish created on our behalf.

It's a challenge, isn't it, to live in a way that reduces our impact. We have to take the time to make more of our own food and other products so that we're not buying so many packaged things from the store. It's possible!

I hope you're having fun this summer and enjoying your beautiful outdoors. And I hope you're enjoying these activities.

I'll continue to read your blog.

    Cheers,

    Leslie
